Twenty-five years after the chaos of the original Taxi 2 (2000), Marseille’s most fearless driver, Daniel Morales, has traded in his turbo-charged Peugeot for a quiet life as a driving instructor. But peace doesn’t last long. When a series of high-speed robberies hits the city — all executed by a mysterious biker gang using military-grade tech — the Marseille police turn to Daniel once again. This time, he’s not just helping the force… he’s helping his own family.

Émilien, now a senior officer (still as clumsy as ever), recruits Daniel for a secret mission: escort a high-ranking Japanese tech ambassador who is in town to sign a major AI-driven transport deal. But when the ambassador is kidnapped mid-convoy, Daniel and Émilien are forced into another wild cross-country chase — one filled with drones, self-driving cars, and an old-school taxi modified with next-gen gadgets.

The duo must navigate a Europe that’s faster and smarter, but still full of absurd bureaucracy, language mix-ups, and explosive car stunts. Along the way, Daniel’s teenage daughter, Léa — a skilled underground racer — joins the chase, proving that speed runs in the family. As they chase clues from Marseille to Tokyo and back, they uncover a conspiracy involving corrupt CEOs, AI manipulation, and a former enemy seeking revenge.

In a climactic finale through the neon-lit streets of Tokyo, Daniel and his team outsmart the tech villains with pure driving instinct and old-school tricks. The Peugeot returns — upgraded and more ridiculous than ever — for one final high-speed showdown. Taxi 2 (2025) ends with Daniel passing the keys (and nitro boost button) to Léa, hinting that the future of fast may be in new hands… but the madness of Marseille will never change.
