After the sudden death of his older brother, high school student Steve Clark relocates with his family to the idyllic coastal town of Cradle Bay. At first glance, it seems like a picture-perfect community—clean streets, smiling neighbors, and well-behaved teens. But Steve soon discovers that beneath the polished surface lies something much more sinister. His new school is dominated by a clique known as the “Blue Ribbons,” a group of eerily perfect students who follow every rule and never step out of line.

With the help of rebel outsider Rachel and conspiracy theorist Gavin, Steve begins to uncover the truth: a shadowy program is brainwashing troubled teens into obedient drones. The mind-control experiment, spearheaded by the school’s guidance counselor, is designed to eliminate delinquency—but it also erases free will, compassion, and any trace of individuality. When Gavin disappears after getting too close to the truth, Steve realizes that he’s next.

As paranoia sets in and the town turns against him, Steve must navigate a deadly game of survival. Every classmate could be a ticking time bomb, and even those closest to him may already be changed. Trust becomes a luxury, and resistance may come at a devastating cost.
